Privacy policy
What we collect when you use this site and place an order, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address (address, city, state and PIN code) and country, what you ordered, and any note you add to a piece. There are no accounts to sign up for, and we don’t collect anything else about you.
If you write a review: the name, city and words you give us, and the network address it was sent from, which we use only to stop spam. A review appears on the site only if we choose to show it, and we’ll delete yours whenever you ask.
Payments
Payments are handled by Razorpay. Your card, UPI and bank details go to Razorpay, not to us, and Razorpay’s own privacy policy applies to them.
What we use it for
To make your order, deliver it, contact you about it, and keep the invoices and records the law requires.
Who we share it with
The delivery service that carries your parcel receives your name, address and phone number, and Razorpay processes your payment. We don’t sell, rent or trade your details, and we don’t use them for advertising.
What stays in your browser
The site remembers a few things in your own browser’s local storage rather than on our servers: the items you’ve saved, your region and currency choice, your answer to the analytics notice, and what you enter at checkout. You can clear them at any time from your browser’s settings.
We don’t use advertising trackers. The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google.
Analytics — only if you agree
With your permission, the shop uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how it is used: which pages and products people look at, how far they get through the cart and checkout, the kind of device and browser they use, roughly where they are (city level), and how they arrived, such as from Instagram or WhatsApp. Clarity also records anonymous sessions — clicks, taps and scrolling — so we can see where the site is confusing. What you type at checkout is hidden from those recordings.
This tells us where people have trouble, not who they are. We don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t link it to your order details.
Nothing is loaded until you choose “That’s fine” on the notice at the bottom of the shop, and “No thanks” means nothing is loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of the shop. Google’s and Microsoft’s own privacy policies apply to what they collect.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to make and deliver your order, and after that for as long as tax law requires us to keep invoices.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you. Email allthingsquirky.in@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp, and we’ll delete whatever we aren’t required to keep.
